NEW SERIES: ‘5 Reasons to Hate…’

Yeovil Town don’t have many fierce rivals, especially with their noisy non-league neighbours Weymouth currently languishing in the Evo-Stik League Southern.

The most local club in League Two is Exeter City, but even though matches between the two teams often see a rise in attendances, there still isn’t really a derby atmosphere.

Raleigh Grove is the only stadium within 10 miles of Huish Park, but unfortunately, it doesn’t seem likely that Sherborne Town will make the step up to the Football League any time soon.

With that in mind, we think it’s time to start viewing every team as fierce rivals in order to increase competitiveness and motivation.

That’s why we’ve created a new series of articles called ‘5 Reasons to Hate…’, which will detail exactly why we should dislike each club the Glovers face.

Obviously, this series will be firmly tongue-in-cheek (as well as being slightly ripped off from a ‘FullTimeDEVILS’ feature) and we mean no genuine disrespect to any of the football teams we take the mick out of.

In fact, if you’re an opposition fan then feel free to make a ‘5 Reasons to Hate Yeovil’ article and send it to us!

But if you are part of the green army then keep your eyes peeled for the first in the series, which will examine reasons to dislike Doncaster Rovers.
